What do you see?

Some people see a glass that is half empty

some people see it half full

Some people thank God for another sunny day,

Some people curse the heat.

Some people rejoice when succeed,

Some people curse the time taken for them to get it right.

Some people complain about not having the latest phone,

Some people are happy in a small home.

Our brain has control what our eyes can see.

Our perception of life is how we choose to live it.

So frown cause its a Monday morning,

Or smile because you were granted another day?

Snap out of it,

And make your day a better one

I am like a tree

I am like a tree
The roots are the voices in my head
So many different decisions
A fight between the angel, the fallen and me

I am always silent
But there are a thousands whispers
conflicting and contradicting
They make no sense

At last I still grow
I am not perfect
I am crooked because of my mistakes
But I bear good fruits because of my foundation

God is like nature
He is the rain when I am dry
The sun providing my needs
And always leading me the way that I will prosper

Dry

Is it just me, or is this truly what I see
The walls of this world, so plain.
For everyday is like a recycle
That we walk as a routine again.

Smiles are displayed on every faces
Or is this just a complex way
To scream and yell a silent cry of help
Finding the one that sees the crumbles
left hidden deep in our core.

Lord won't You come down again
Or at least let your mercy fall
Gather the filthy dust in us,
transform them into beautiful blossoms

So that we may give one out everyday
To let them smile of your great love
Fill us anew with your living water
Wake us up from what we're deceived in

Break the walls and let us see beyond,
Let our knees not fall but only at Your feet.
Paint our lives with colours so that I may know
That the world is not plain, and it has no walls.

For I am desperate.
I am dry.
This is my cry.

Changes

Its a new day, Its a new year.
The time when we all set all our new year resolution.
But sadly we all know,
We aren't all really committed to it.

But this year I want it to be different.
I want to really mean what I say
I'm not a little kid anymore.
Its time that changes are brought into my life.

2011 has been one heck of a year.
I've messed up a lot and many mistakes were made.
And its time that I grow and build myself up.
Its the only way to make it through life.

I have to learn to give.
To think for others and not only myself.
To bring happiness for the life of others.
For the happiness of others will bring joy to our heart

I have to set my goals right.
To focus on what is meant to be focus on.
To give my best to achieve what I want
So even when I fail I know I couldn't have give it anymore.

I have to set my boundaries.
To say no when its time to do so.
To resist the temptations the excitement and more
To save myself from doing anything wrong

I have to set my heart straight
To be nice but not overly nice and choose wisely
To know the difference between compliments and flirting.
To save everything I am for my one and only one.

I have to be a faithful servant.
I'm not perfect, but I'll keep trying
To please and to be a follower
To hold the hand of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's Christmas !

Months and months we went though our boring days

repeating our daily routine with or without getting paid

waiting for the end of the year to come.

To sing those wonderful songs again at the top of our lungs

The songs that expresses our joy,

The songs that give us the sense of peace

The songs that are created out of pure love

The songs that brought the angels together from up above.

Let it snow, let it snow, Let it pour , let it flow

as we lay down on the winter snow

Having my darling's arm wrap around me

Whispering I'm the only one on his Christmas list

But most of all we must not forget

The greatest gift given to us yet

that very baby boy given birth at the stable

given the name Jesus Christ who saved our lives.

Thank you Lord Jesus, for the great year

and your precious blood covering and protecting me

for your peace that lead me through the bad times

and most of all for saving our lives. :)

Its the end of the year

It has been a heck of a year
that left me a whole lot of memories
which will leave a lasting mark in my heart

It has been a heck of a year,
and Christmas is near
Can't believe that it is finally here

It has been a heck of a year,
so lets enjoy Christmas
to take less and give a whole lot more.

But I know others experienced worse
so I thank the Lord, for I'm a lucky girl.
